I LOVE books.

The feel and smell of them, and that there’s just SOOOOO much knowledge contained in those pages.

What I hear from a lot of other parents is this: “Yeah, I heard of that book, and it sounds really great. I just don’t have the time to read.” Or I bought that book, but I just haven’t gotten around to reading it yet.”

Sound familiar? I get it! I have 3 little ones at home, and the way I read has definitely changed as a result.

It is however possible to make time for reading…if you apply the right focus. But I digress. The whole point of this post is to share something that will make your life EASIER!

Video book reviews!

Every month, in 5 minutes or less, I’m going to be sharing my impressions of parenting and self-development books that I’ve read.

This of course isn’t meant to replace actually reading or listening to a book! What it will give you is:

  • What I liked about the book.
  • What I didn’t like about the book.
  • Would I recommend the book or read another one by this author?
  • My favorite part of the book.

Enjoy!

For those of you who noticed, I actually missed giving a couple things this time around.

A golden tip

I got from this book was: Recognizing our kids feelings in WORDS!

Two favourite quotes

“If kids don’t feel right, they can’t behave right.”

“If you’re not sure what to do try it out on yourself first.”

What did you think of this book review? Have you read this book and have something to add? Please share!
