One of the most common complaints I hear from other moms in business is how little time they have. It’s also one I myself used for a very long time! Now obviously having and running your own business does require some time investment so not having enough is a problem!
And I get it, really I do. There’s so many things that as a businesswoman, mom, partner, and individual that you’d like to get done every day!
Feeling frustrated/ resentful of the things you “have to” do
Blaming time for lack of progress or growth
Finding it hard to focus and finish things
Experiencing stress and having never-ending to-do lists
What you should be doing though, instead of acting from a place of time scarcity (never having enough) is looking for possibilities!
Because when you are able to switch your attitude and approach to time it will allow you to regain control. Of what you do (or don’t do) with it and in what order.

Part of what I do as a coach is to support in becoming more conscious of the things that aren’t serving you in your life and business. And being the victim of time is high up on that list!
Stepping up, and taking control of your time can be confronting because it means accepting responsibility, for the good, and the less awesome ways you’re using your time.

Create awareness around what you’re spending your time on
Identify and take action aligned with your priorities
Increase productivity and focus
So the next time you find yourself complaining about a lack of time, take a step back and take a real honest look at how you’re making use of your time and where there’s room for improvement.
